Taking care of yourself and your mental health is always important, even more as future parents. Pregnancy is a time of significant hormonal changes and life adjustments, which can trigger or exacerbate anxiety and depression.

Did you know that one in five pregnant women quietly battles anxiety or depression during this vulnerable time?

We often overlook it, but mental health during pregnancy is just as essential as physical health, and it’s a conversation that we must have—with care, compassion, and understanding.

In this video, animated by Isabelle Racicot, we’ve gathered a remarkable group of experts to discuss mental health during pregnancy: Anick Bérard, epidemiologist and researcher, Valérie Samson, perinatal nurse, Lucie Morin, OBGYN, and Katie DiCaprio, mom who experienced anxiety.

Take the time to explore the importance of mental health during this transformative period, and don’t hesitate to share this video with other moms so that everyone feels supported and understood.
