Introduction

Duloxetine (Cymbalta®) is an antidepressant known as a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), meaning it works on the neurotransmitters tooltip serotonin and norepinephrine. It is used, among other things, to treat anxiety disorders and depression.
